The fire broke out around 8:30 PM in a house on Oranjestraat in Zandvoort. A man reportedly left the building before the police or other emergency services arrived. The fire itself was quickly brought under control, but the man has not yet been found. It is unknown whether he fled.
Police units are currently looking for the 52-year-old man, and have therefore… Burgernet report sent in the area. He is said to be in a confused state and possibly moving towards the beach. He can be recognized by his medium-length brown hair, stubble beard and black coat.
The man may have been injured when the fire broke out. The police ask him not to approach him himself and to call emergency number 112 immediately.
