The young poet died of a serious illness.

Poet Aija Andersson (nee Typpö) is dead. Born in 1983, Andersson died of a serious illness. This is clear from the Kulttuurivihka article.

In previous years, Andersson openly told the public that he was suffering from incurable cancer.

Poems published by Andersson were published by Kulttuurivihka Amputation (2021) and Euthanasia (2022). In both works, Andersson dealt with his own illness and disability.

Andersson’s yet unpublished work Silicon is still currently in print. Andersson had time to see the work electronically before his death, according to Kulttuurivihka. Andersson will publish a posthumous poetry collection next year Unbroken.

During his life, Andersson, known as a poet, also worked as a parliamentary assistant to Claes Andersson (left) and as a subject teacher of mother tongue and literature. The Anderssons were not related to each other.
