The prices of Sony’s Playstation Plus subscriptions are going up. With the Plus subscription, the player can, among other things, play online multiplayer games, get monthly free games, and cloud storage.

According to the information provided by Sony, the price increase applies to annual subscribers of the Plus service. The company has not yet revealed the price increase for monthly subscribers.

The new prices will take effect from September 6 onwards. Annual subscribers have the opportunity to renew their subscriptions at the old price before November 6.

This is how prices change

The price increases apply to all subscription levels. Players with more valuable subscriptions have access to, among other things, a larger selection of games.

The cheapest Playstation Plus Essential will rise to 71.99 euros per year, which previously cost 59.95 euros.

The Plus Extra order will rise from 99.95 euros to 125.99 euros. At this level, you also get access to streaming gameplay and a Ubisoft+ subscription.

The most valuable Plus Premium order rises to 151.99 euros. Previously, this cost 119.95 euros. At the Premium level, you also get access to Playstation’s classic selection and trial versions of games.

If you want to lower your order level, you should do it before the September price changes.

Sony told about it on his blog.
