Playboy launches its own line of lingerie

Playboy launches its first line of lingerie.

The first collection from the brand, which belongs to the US lifestyle and media group Plby Group, is called “Icon Collection,” Playboy announced on Monday. Playboy’s “Rabbit Head” logo is the focal point of the collection, which will be available online November 1 and at the new store in Los Angeles’ Westfield Century City beginning November 3. Ten more collections are set to be launched in new colours, fabrics and styles in the coming weeks.

“As the global lingerie market continues to grow, we are excited to launch Playboy’s first proprietary line of lingerie, built on our core value of freedom of expression,” said Ashley Kechter, Plby Group President of Global Consumer Products.

“The Playboy brand appeals to younger consumers, whose share of our clientele has increased significantly in recent years,” says Kechter brand will benefit Honey Birdette.”
