The reason for postponing a match in the regional promotion championship is truly unique in Umbria. The derby between Vis Foligno and Bevagna was in fact postponed after a herd of wild boars made the pitch unusable during the night.

The surprise came today when the two teams showed up at the Paolini stadium in Sant’Eraclio where, during the night, a herd of wild boars had literally destroyed the turf. The ground was devastated and so the referee Bonifazi could not help but postpone the match between Vis Foligno and Bevagna, valid for the twelfth day of the promotion group B, due to the pitch being unpractical.
