An Azerbaijian Airlines plane with 67 people on board (62 passengers and five crew members) crashed in Kazakhstan. The plane was traveling between Baku and Grozny when it crashed near the airport in the Kazakh city of Aktau on the shores of the Caspian Sea. The aircraft was an Ebramer 190. According to initial information, 14 people survived the disaster. The aircraft was a twin-engine aircraft in service for 11 years. According to the Flightradar track, the flight lasted one hour and eight minutes. After takeoff the aircraft reached a cruising altitude of 30,000 feet and a speed of approximately 400 knots. After 31 minutes, about halfway through the route, the data held by the site specialized in monitoring flight data shows a descent lasting 15 minutes. After that no more data is available. In a video shot on social media you can see the last moments of the plane’s descent, bent to the right and hitting the ground.
