The A4 towards Amsterdam has been released again since 8 p.m., Rijkswaterstaat reports. The highway at Nieuw-Vennep was closed for a number of hours, after two tour buses were bumped into each other.
The two buses have both been salvaged. ANP reports that according to bus company Flixbus there were a total of 66 passengers in the buses. A number of them were slightly injured and were taken to the hospital. The unharmed occupants have been transferred to their destination in Amsterdam.
