U18 national player Rafael Pinto Pedrosa has extended his contract, originally running until 2026, at Karlsruher SC in the long term. The Badeners, for whom the 17-year-old right-backs actually intended for the U19 was already in the 2nd Bundesliga this season, reported the signature on Saturday without responding to the new term.
“Rafa is one of the top talents from our successful academy, showing a very high identification with the KSC and, thanks to its strong performance, is already an integral part of our professional squad,” said the new sports manager Mario Eggimann. “His great talent and his qualities have not been hidden from some Bundesliga clubs, and I am therefore all the more pleased that, despite other attractive offers, we were able to convince from the KSC, which has been taken from the KSC, that he would like to go in his career together with the coaching team and our club. It will be our task that there will be many more missions in the next few years.”

Pinto Pedrosa, who was able to increase its market value to a million euros at the end of March, said: “I am extremely proud after I have spent all my youth at the KSC in the long term.
