Piepjong FC Volendam remains scoreless after defeat against adult FC Twente

More than ten minutes before the end, Volendam seemed to be awarded a penalty after an intervention by debutant Francisco Reyes Marizan, but the VAR decided to reverse the decision.

Wrong outcome

In the end, things went wrong for Volendam. FC Twente played their way out in midfield, after which top scorer Ricky van Wolfswinkel was brought into position. The striker did not hesitate and shot Twente ten minutes before the end with a roller in the far corner to the decisive 0-2.

Brian Plat had an opportunity to score the tying goal in injury time, but that was not for him. That left it 0-2 and Volendam without points.
