Photos! This is what the arrival of Sinterklaas in Zoetermeer looked like

It was fun, busy and cold! Parents, grandparents and a lot of children dressed in winter coats, warm hats and gloves went into the Stadshart and Dorpsstraat to welcome Saint Nicholas.

It was lined up in rows on the Eastwards and on Cadenzaplein, and later on the Markt and in front of the Sinterklaashuis for a meeting with the Goedheiligman. Together with the mayor, he made a tour from the Stadshart in the direction of the Dorpsstraat. He later exchanged the carriage for his white gray ozosnel.

Dressed up children, happy parents and numb grandpas and grandmas

In the company of his Amigos and Pieten, he visited the Dorpsstraat where visitors kept themselves warm with hot fried fish, coffee and hot snacks. Due to the east wind and the absence of the sun it was very cold, but oh so cozy. With our camera we captured cheerful images of children dressed up, happy parents and numb grandpas and grandmas.
