Photos, setlist, videos — Music Rolling Stone

On March 7th, Depeche Mode performed at the Olympiahalle in Munich – this is the second time on the world tour for the album “Memento Mori” that Dave Gahan and Martin Gore are stopping here. Anyone who was there at the first show should already know the setlist – this time too, like previous European concerts, there are few surprises in the song selection. As usual, Gore takes the microphone for two songs (“Strangelove” and “Somebody”), the encore with “Stripped,” “Enjoy the Silence,” “Never Let Me Down Again” and “Personal Jesus” is expected, but not because of that less exciting. But a spontaneous interjection that doesn’t otherwise exist: a fan named Maria receives a birthday serenade from Depeche Mode.

Depeche Mode: Videos of the show

Here is a fan clip of “Behind the Wheel” live in Munich – the song, as in previous shows, was dedicated to the late keyboardist Andrew Fletcher:

Anyone who has missed Depeche Mode live so far has three more chances. The band will perform at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne on April 3rd, 5th and 8th. Gahan and Gore are also heading to other European cities beforehand. The “Memento Mori” tour will come to an end with the last performance in Cologne.
