The Story has received a formal letter in which the manager of Yolanthe Cabau requires that all the photos taken on the red carpet of Mr & MrS Aslan are first submitted to her for approval. That is highly unusual and, according to Story, editor-in-chief Guido den Astekker, draws her divar behavior.

Sink

Guido tells the desk of Shownieuws That he thinks Yolanthe is going too far. “It really goes a bit out of the spots with the imagination of Yolanthe. What happened? We suddenly receive an email from Independent and he was sent on behalf of the Yolanthe manager. I had to look up his name: Huzur Yilmaz.”

He continues: “I did not know him at all, but he has been the manager of Yolanthe since 2022. It was stated that the press on the red carpet, if pictures were taken of Yolanthe, that those photos should first be offered through her manager to see if they were good enough according to Yolanthe.”

“Idiot!”

And if those photos are not good enough? “Was that not the case, Yolanthe thought, and her manager said that she should also be able to edit the photos, so to her advantage with Photoshop or what also make something more beautiful. Idiot of course! I spoke and interviewed in my career – whether it was Brad Pitt or Emma Thompson – stars.”

Even those did not make such demands, says Guido. “The bigger the star, the less the problems, that’s just the case. I think this is so ridiculous. That manager used to work in the sales at Turkish Airlines and is therefore not a huge phenomenon in the profession, but of course you hunt the press enormously against you.”

Pissed

Many photographers are ‘huge pissed“About this” request “from Yolanthe, says Guido. Showbizz photographer Edwin Janssen says in an item: “Very weird. I have never had such a request. I have really been allowed to photograph the greats of the earth and there has never been such a request. They don’t even have the right to edit my photos.”

He continues: “Even the Royal House does not set such requirements. There are a number of photographers who say:” Do you know what we do? We just turn our back to her when she’s there. Then we don’t take pictures. ” There are also photographers who say: “We’re doing it and she just looks away and she can jump high and low.”

Public favorite

According to Guido, it is self -overestimation. “Yolanthe is for us, and I think she is a bit overestimated, not so interesting. There has not been a cover, at least not at Story, who has sold well with Yolanthe on the cover. She is not a public favorite. You can see that on that Netflix series, which I think is pretty disappointing in terms of viewing figures.”

The manager of Yolanthe says: “I am the one who makes certain agreements with the press or through the distributors. In order to be able to monitor certain limits around the publication of interviews and use of images. In the past things have sometimes been published that were far from reality.”

“And the only way to manage this as well as possible is to make clear agreements. No crazy requirements.”
