The decision for Ninja Warrior Germany has been made. The new Last Man Standing has been determined. sport.de looks back on the second final show.
After the first final course had taken place the previous week, the seven remaining participants had to face five more obstacles on the second stage. The time limit was 2 minutes and 55 seconds. The finishers then went on to the third round.
Finally, the infamous Mount Midoriyama was waiting, consisting of a chimney, ladder to heaven and a rope. The turbo had to be ignited here because only 30 seconds remained to climb the colossus.

Only Djulabic is thrown out on stage two
For Sladjan Djulabic, time was his undoing on stage two. The 35-year-old was just at the cargo net after the water walls when the 2 minutes and 55 seconds had expired. Djulabic narrowly missed the buzzer. “I thought time would simply not be an issue today,” revealed “Sladi” on the RTL microphone.
René Casselly (02:11.37), Sandro Scheibler (02:32.18), Lukas Homann (02:36.22), Jona Schöne (02:47.68), Philipp Göthert (02:49.96) and Henry Lorenz (02:52.45) were able to complete the course However, they mastered the challenge in the allotted time and made it to the next round.
Philipp Göthert becomes Last Man Standing
On stage three the clock played no role. So it was just a matter of overcoming all the obstacles.
This was the end of the day for five of the six ninjas. Lukas Homann and Henry Lorenz had to admit defeat on the floating bars. Jona Schöne, Sandro Scheibler and René Casselly went swimming on the finger rails 3.0.
Only climber Philipp Göthert made it to the buzzer and needed 5 minutes and 27.7 seconds. With that, the newly crowned Last Man Standing went to Mount Midoriyama.
Mount Midoriyama will not be conquered
Here the student had the chance to win 300,000 euros and the title of Ninja Warrior Germany, which so far only René Casselly has been able to grab in 2021.
In the end it wasn’t enough for Göthert. The chimney, ladder to heaven and rope were not left behind in the allotted 30 seconds. Nevertheless, participation is a huge success for Göthert.
The climber is the sixth last man standing at Ninja Warrior Germany after Oliver Edelmann, Moritz Hans, Alexander Wurm, René Casselly and Max Görner and wins 25,000 euros. Viktoria Krämer had already been crowned Last Woman Standing last show.
The obstacles in the course
On the second stage we went over the arrow jump, the running boards, the slingshot trunk, the swinging wings to the water walls 2.0 and then to the buzzer.
In the third final round, the jump kicks, V formation, floating ledges, plug-in boxes to stalactites, finger ledges 2.0 and the covered pool had to be mastered.
Mount Midoriyama consisted of a chimney, sky ladder and rope.
