Danish clothing retailer Samsøe Samsøe has filled a key position in its sales team. On Monday, the company confirmed the appointment of Philip Baiden as Head of Wholesale for the DACH region. The trade magazine Textilwirtschaft (TW) had previously reported on the personnel decision.
According to the company, Baiden took over his new position on March 1st. Since then, he has managed the brand’s wholesale business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition, he is now “responsible for the regional strategy, key account management, business growth, season planning and cross-functional coordination,” the clothing supplier explained in a statement.
The new addition has “more than 14 years of experience in fashion wholesale,” the company said. Over the course of his career, Baiden has worked, among other things, as International Sales Director at Liewood, Sales Manager Germany at PVH for Calvin Klein Jeans and Head of Wholesale DACH at G-Star.
According to Samsøe Samsøe, his skills include “strategic market development, building high-performance sales structures, supporting major customers, team management and a consistent focus on promoting sustainable growth”. He has also built “strong partnerships”.
