Galatasaray made a statement after the club and its president Dursun Özbek were referred to PFDK.

“We are not surprised that our president was referred to discipline by the Professional Football Disciplinary Board. The Turkish Football Federation, which said at the beginning of the year that it would not discipline any club president, has today become the federation of injustice, threat and cruelty. Galatasaray Sports Club is the reason why TFF has lost its neutrality, which is the simplest moral principle. Therefore, he will not exercise his right to defense.
