Petra De Sutter (Green) wants to quit politics to become rector of Ghent University

Green leader Petra De Sutter (61) is said to be preparing her departure from politics and preparing for the battle for the rectorship of Ghent University. Several sources confirm this to the editorial staff of HLN and VTM NIEUWS. The name of the resigning deputy prime minister has been doing the rounds for some time. De Sutter resigned last year – against all expectations – for the chairmanship of her party.
