Striker Nils Petersen from Bundesliga club SC Freiburg is dreaming of another final in the DFB Cup.
“We’re all keen to be able to experience that again,” said Petersen on Sky: “We don’t want to take too much time with that, so we’re happy to do it again in the composition.”
But on the way there on Sunday (3:30 p.m. / Sky) with the second division promoted 1. FC Kaiserslautern there is already “a decent number” for the 33-year-old. Nevertheless, Petersen sees himself as a favorite with Freiburg. “It’s all about the result,” said Petersen.
Freiburg made it to the DFB Cup final for the first time last season, only losing to RB Leipzig on penalties.
