Peterka concedes defeat with Buffalo Sabers

The German national ice hockey player JJ Peterka has suffered a defeat in the North American ice hockey league NHL with the Buffalo Sabers after three wins in a row.

The Sabers lost away to the Carolina Hurricanes 3-5 (2-2, 0-1, 1-2). Peterka was involved in the Buffalos’ 3:5 in the final seconds. For the native of Munich it was the seventh scorer point of the season.

The Colorado Avalanche won 6-3 (2-0, 1-2, 3-1) against the Columbus Blue Jackets in Tampere, Finland. As part of the Global Series, the NHL played the second game of the season in Europe, on Saturday both teams will face each other again in Tampere.

Finnish forward Mikko Rantanen led reigning NHL champions Colorado with three goals and one assist.
