Peter Yarrow, known from the group Peter, Paul and Mary, has died.

Musician Peter Yarrow died yesterday, Tuesday, at the age of 86. He died at his home in Manhattan, New York.
According to Yarrow’s spokesperson, the cause of death was bladder cancer. According to TMZ, the cancer was discovered four years ago.
Yarrow was one of the soloists of the Peter, Paul and Mary trio, who sang folk songs.

The band’s most famous song is Puff The Magic Dragon. Yarrow is one of the lyricists of the song. A Finnish version of the song has also been made by Lohikämäri Puff, which is performed by Puff Brita Koivunen together with Four Cats.
Klamydia has also made a cover version of the song.
Puff The Magic Dragon was published in 1963 and has become a timeless children’s song, which Yarrow even made into a book.
Trio Mary Travers died in September 2009.
