It will be four years since Peter R. de Vries was murdered next month. After his program of the same name on SBS 6, we mainly saw him as a guest in talk shows and RTL Boulevard. Another solo project then failed: the council chamber. This was a current affairs program about crime full of legal figures, but did not catch on.

Johan Derksen has seen Peter at work for that program. “I have seen Peter de Vries full of teeth once in my life,” he starts in his podcast Vegetables from Grolloo.

The today Inside Star continues: “He had a moment-that was not a success-a program with all judges and lawyers and so on, the council chamber. That was beside us, but we met each other and then we had the same copier.”

And then? Johan says: “Peter is copying there and John de Mol who comes in. He walks along and says:” Hey Peter, this is a waste of money. Those papers of copying can also be used on both sides. ” And walks on again and I see Peter look like: Has that guy crazy or something? “

A multi -billionaire who is concerned about a few sheets of paper, while he throws millions over the beam for programs that nobody looks: separately. And why did the council chamber actually flop? “Yes, it was for a very small audience and at the commercials they don’t like programs for a small audience,” concludes Johan.
