More about Anna R. and Rosenstolz
Anna R. was actually called Andrea Neuenhofen, born Rosenbaum. She was born on December 25, 1969 in East Berlin. At first it was difficult for her to gain a foothold in the music world of the GDR, which is why she trained as a chemical laboratory. At the same time, she worked as a musical dealer and took singing lessons.
It was only with Rosenstolz and Peter Plate properly started from 1991. The duo shaped with its mixture of chanson, rock and pop, sung in German, decades. Together they brought out twelve records, five of which could climb to the top of the charts. A biography of her band, “Love me, if you can, take me, take me completely” came out in 1998.
