The currently difficult situation at FC Schalke 04 is a great abdominal pain. He identified the culprits for chaos in the club.

Peter Neururer is concerned about the development of his ex-club. In an interview with “Web.de News”, the former Bundesliga trainer clearly commented on the current situation at FC Schalke 04-and did not leave good hair to those responsible.

His heart was bleeding for a long time, the 70-year-old said. The second division team is “without a sporting leadership, without a sporty line”, he considers the officials themselves “hopelessly overwhelmed because they have no idea from the Bundesliga business”. Especially in criticism: Supervisory Board chief Axel Hefer, CEO Matthias Tillmann and squad planner Ben Manga.

Neururer spoke of a fire -threatening development. “Because at some point the mood tilts,” said the cult coach. After the farewell to ex-boss Clemens Tönnies in 2020, it was “just chaos”.

Meanwhile, Neururer sees the biggest strengths of the club in the ranks. The club has “the most fantastic fans you can imagine”. But there is no sporting leadership. Nobody in the club is also able to provide clear objectives.

Board boss Tillmann had recently emphasized that they wanted to “return to the Bundesliga permanently”. However, Neururer clearly contradicts this. For him, Schalke could only be concerned with keeping the class. “This team is so far away from the climb. That is incredible,” it became clear.
