Despite all the controversy surrounding his person, Peter Gillis is making a serious attempt to win the Golden Televizier Ring. “Will the program be disqualified?”
According to many people, it is a travesty that John de Mol is still keeping him on the air now that he is suspected of abusing his girlfriend: Peter Gillis. The Public Prosecution Service finds the evidence against him so convincing that he has to appear in court even without a report from Nicol Kremers.
Peter wants the ring
Peter apparently has not only a plate in front of his head, but a whole set of dishes, because he has now started a campaign to win the Gouden Televizier-Ring with his program on SBS 6. He posted a message on Instagram this morning in which he calls to vote for Massa is Kassa.
It’s a serious effort from Peter. “Hatseflats!! Voice Gillis Family: Massa is Kassa in the battle for the Golden Televizier Ring. Thanks to your support we ended up in this coveted nomination round… The three programs with the most votes will appear on the Gouden Televizier-Ring Gala! ? On to the ring.”
Disqualification?
Rob Goossens, the TV connoisseur of RTL Boulevard, finds it incredibly shameful. “Peter Gillis is now recruiting votes on social media for Massa Is Kassa for the Televizier-Ring. But surely the program will be disqualified if Peter is convicted?” he tweeted.
He continues: “If even Jan Roos’s review videos don’t pass the inspection committee…”
Little support
Peter also gets little support on his own Instagram page. “Seriously?!” Pascal wonders. And Emmy: “No, sorry, but Lil Kleine had to go through the dust because of his actions, so I really don’t agree that you are now nominated for a Televizier-Ring. I find it really shameful.”
And Monique says: “If it was a prize for the biggest liar, yes I would definitely have voted for you. ”
