Gillis has been married once before and is “not proud” that the relationship ended in divorce. “You marry a woman to stay with it forever. If you get a divorce, it doesn’t deserve the beauty prize. But if it doesn’t work anymore, you also have to take the plunge. That didn’t happen in one day either, we talked about it a lot. It hadn’t been going well for five years.”
Gillis has been in a relationship with Kremers for four years now. He does not rule out the possibility that it will come from a wedding later. “It can just happen one day.”
