Backstage at the Golden Jubilee, Parkkonen signed autographs for the fans who were behind the Net Fences. Enthusiastic fans waved through the mesh fence, over or under, among other things, Suomi flags, their palms and baseball caps, on which Parkkonen wrote his autograph.

Suddenly, a fan slipped Parkkonen a small pink rose. Parkkonen thanks the fan by giving him a fist salute against the fence. The artist continued to write autographs with a rose in his left hand.
Parkkonen and Lampenius represented Finland in the spring Eurovision Song Contest with their song Liekinheit. The duo, who were the early favorites in the betting statistics throughout the spring, ended up finishing sixth in the competition. The victory was taken by the representative of Bulgaria Dara with his piece Bangaranga.
The Lions’ world championship victory is celebrated today in front of the Helsinki Olympic Stadium, on the Mäntymäki field and in Stadioninaukio. In addition to Linda and Pete, the performers at the folk festival include Ellinora, Nelli Matula, Raptor, WrapperJVG, Hello Helsinki, Samuell, Vesala and Arttu Wiskari.
