Perttu Hyvärinen’s trick surprised his thirsty teammates

Remi Lindholm and Lauri Vuorinen would have liked to take a sip from the winning bottle.

Perttu Hyvärinen received a large bottle of Italian sparkling wine as a reward for his victory in Toblach on Sunday.

The Finn took small slices of the slats, but sprayed the rest of the contents on his competitors and other attendees at the award ceremonies.

This excited the thirsty teammates.

– Let’s take a trip to Davos by car on Monday, Remi Lindholm planned before knowing the fate of the party drink.

– We will certainly celebrate. Let’s have a little party in the car on Monday, so we could chat after Monday’s race, Lauri Vuorinen comment before the award ceremony.

Lindholm and Hyvärinen are roommates on the Tour.

– If there was no race day on Monday, we would leave at night, Lindholm stated.

He estimates that on Sunday evening the Finnish winner will be able to tighten the knot.

– We’ve been eating quite small portions of pasta, so if Perttu could get a bigger portion now.

“Devil”

Lindholm was 31st in Sunday’s competition.

– I guess it was pretty bad. Devil. You could ski a little harder.

The difference with the roommate was 1.25.0.

– I left quite calmly. In the last round I drew Sweden Leo Johanssonwho was a couple of places higher than me in the final results.

Lindholm is the only Finnish male skier on the Tour who uses the tricks of the famous Salomon ski stable.

– The ski worked just fine. Nothing bad to say. The grip is quite important to be able to pull comfortably.
