PSV won the away match against Go Ahead Eagles in the penultimate round of the Eredivisie. The national champion from Eindhoven won 4-1 when visiting Deventer.

PSV took the lead in the 19th minute through Ivan Perisic, returning from suspension, who powerfully headed Kiliann Sildillia’s cross into the left corner.

About five minutes later, Go Ahead leveled through a penalty kick. After a foul by Kiliann Sildillia on Jakob Breum, the ball hit the spot and Mathis Suray equalized.

Just before half time, Ricardo Pepi gave the Eindhoven team a 2-1 lead with a header. Perisic made it 3-1 in the 70th minute. Paul Wanner was responsible for the 4-1 in the final phase.

PSV has been champion for several weeks and now has a 19-point lead over pursuer Feyenoord.
