The next Performance Days in Munich, which will take place from November 3rd to 4th, 2022, have a new location: The trade fair for functional textiles, yarns, equipment and accessories for sportswear, workwear and sportive fashion will take place once at the Munich MOC. The last events took place at the Munich exhibition center.
The trade fair will occupy a total of four halls that are close together and will therefore have more space available than before. “Due to the large exhibition area, we have more exhibitors than ever before,” says a press release from the organizers. Over 275 exhibitors have announced themselves and will present their new collections for the autumn/winter 2024/25 season and an update for summer 2024 on the site.
The focus of the fair is – like the last few times – the topic of sustainability. Only sustainable materials are presented in the Performance Forum and the specialist lectures are also based on this topic.
The Performance Days take place twice a year in Munich, as well as “Functional Fabric Fair powered by Performance Days” in New York City and Portland in the USA, and as “Functional Textiles Shanghai by Performance Days” in Shanghai, China.
In addition, the trade fair has developed a digital fabric database “The Loop”, which interested parties can also use to source fabrics independently of the trade fair events. According to the organizer, the database currently contains more than 19,000 products.
