Work in the winter
Outside the ice cream season, ice cream makers spend the winter coming up with new ice cream flavors and gauging customer needs. “The matcha is still very popular. We try to add something to it, such as a mango or raspberry sauce. But every year it is something different.”
Unfortunately, anyone who wanted an ice cream today had to be patient. Lisa had to keep the doors closed to customers today. “Unfortunately we had to disappoint a few children,” she says. “They stood here with grandparents and asked: ‘Why can’t I get ice cream here?'”
