‘Perfect vlogs’ to strangulation: Docu about murdered influencer gabby petito (22) provides horror

Netflix has been in true crime documentaries for some time, so that clichéd “Netflix and Chill” evenings nowadays can be called better ‘Netflix and Kill’. Following the earlier Sinister Docation series American Murder, the streaming service launches a triptych on Monday about the American Gabby Petito, who was murdered in 2021 by her fiancé Brian Laundrie during a tour. The whole world was under the spell of the missing of the young woman, who seemed to have the perfect life as a successful influencer. The discrepancy between the apparently perfect pictures on social media and reality becomes clear in the new series: American Murder: Gabby Petito.
