Employees of the Defense Digital Service department, who is responsible for the technology development of Pentagon, intend to leave their work. All 14 employees of the department will resign in early May.

Founded in 2015, DDS has been responsible for Pentagon’s technological innovation. For example, the department has developed a rapid action for Pentagon for retreating from Afghanistan and databases to provide Ukraine’s military assistance.
One of the department’s employees tell The Hill that the resignation decision is based on the actions of the administration. As examples, the employee appears as an employee to freeze, denying telework and travel restrictions.
“As a result, most of the team decided to resign,” the employee tells the magazine.
Department leader Jennifer Hay tells Politico that most employees are going to take the president Donald Trump the difference between the divorce. Hay also plans to leave in early May.

A Pentagon representative did not comment on the resignation to Politico. However, the representative says that the duties of the department will be the responsibility of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office.
