Pelé undergoes another hip operation

Brazil’s soccer legend Pele has had another hip operation. As the daily newspaper Estado de Sao Paulo reported on Thursday, the intervention took place on December 3 in New York. Accordingly, the 75-year-old used his vacation in his US residence to make corrections to the artificial joint used in November 2012. After the operation in the Special Surgery hospital, the three-time world champion has already started physiotherapy. The Santos FC and Cosmos New York idol’s medical record lists recent spinal (July 2015), prostate (May 2015) and kidney (November 2014) surgeries.
