FOOTBALL – The 19 -year -old Tygo Land from Peize has had an exciting evening. Tonight he made his debut on behalf of PSV in the Champions League against Liverpool. Coach Peter Bosz had a place for him in the basic setup of PSV in the 3-2 match against Liverpool.
Land was already a few times this season with the selection of the Eindhoven players in the Champions League, but it didn’t come to play minutes. In the Philips Stadium, Land faced the unbeaten leader of the champions ball. He remained on the field for the entire game.
In the Eredivisie, the Peizenaar had already made minutes. He made his debut in that competition in August 2023, then 17 years old. This season Land has to do with three raids. That was against Go Ahead Eagles and NEC in September and against FC Groningen in November.
