A woman was hit by a car in Valkenswaard around six o’clock on Saturday. The woman wanted to cross the Damianusdreef on foot when she was hit by a turning car coming from the De Belleman shopping center.
The woman was helped by bystanders and emergency services were called. She was checked at the scene by ambulance personnel and taken to hospital.
It is not known how serious her injuries are.
The road was closed to all traffic while the accident was resolved. There is no zebra crossing at the site of the accident.
