A pedestrian was seriously injured on Monday evening in a collision with a scooter on the Markt in Valkenswaard. The accident happened near the artificial ice rink.
The scooter rider was driving from the Markt towards the church when three men crossed the road. The scooter collided with one of the men, who suffered serious head injuries.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
