PEC keeper Jasper Schendelaar selected for the Dutch Juniors | Top sports region

Jasper Schendelaar (22) has been called up for the Dutch Juniors by national coach Erwin van de Looi. It is the first time that the goalkeeper of PEC Zwolle is part of the selection.

Zwollenaar Sepp van den Berg, who now plays at Schalke 04, was in the pre-selection, but was not selected. Devyne Rensch from Lelystad is part of the preselection. The Dutch Juniors will travel to Spain on Monday.

The team will play two exhibition games in the Pinatar Arena in San Pedro del Pinatar in preparation for the European Championship that will be played in June. On Saturday, March 25, Norway will kick off at 6 p.m. and the Czech Republic will be the opponent on Monday, March 27 at 2 p.m.

Schendelaar is not the only PEC Zwolle player who has been called up for international obligations. Younes Taha is part of the selection of Young Morocco for the first time. Daijiro Chirino was in the pre-selection of Curaçao, but has been placed on the stand-by list. Rav van den Berg is part of the pre-selection of Orange under 20.
