PBL: Cabinet must enforce reduction of raw material consumption harder to achieve targets

The government must apply more ‘pressure and coercion’ if it wants to achieve its ambitions for a sustainable economy. Only focusing on recycling is not enough to reduce the consumption of raw materials by consumers and manufacturers, the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL) writes in a new report on Tuesday.
