At the Elrow Town Festival in Madrid, an incident occurred on Thursday (May 1st): During his set at the Hallucinarium stage, the Berlin DJ and producer Paul Kalkbrenner was surprised and physically pressed by a man on stage.
Moment on video
The incident occurred during the running DJ set when a man-free man climbed onto the stage and over the DJ desk. There was a short physical argument there before security forces and bystanders intervened and brought the situation under control. Lime burner remained unharmed.
Several video recordings are now circulating on social media that show what is happening from different perspectives – both from the audience and the stage itself. Whether the man hugs Kalkbrenner or wanted to attack in rather aggressively remains unclear.
So far, neither from Paul Kalkbrenner nor the organizers of the Elrow Town Festival has been an official statement.
