Patrick Laine revealed a detail about her upcoming wedding.
Laine and Jordan Leigh are getting married in June. NHL star With Aleksander Barkov plays an important role in the party.
– He is one of my groomsmen, Laine said on the NHL website.
Laine and Barkov are both from Tampere. The attackers have a three-year age difference, but both are from Tappara, who have gone through the junior path from the youth national teams to Leijon.
– I have always known him. He had a similar career path to mine, but three years earlier. We played in the same team for the first time in my reserve year, Laine referred to the 2016 World Cup.
The duo clicked, because since that tournament, Barkov and Laine have been training together in Finland in the summer.
– We live quite close to each other and spend a lot of time together. He is one of my best friends and one of the best hockey players in the world.
Laine and Barkov will get to play together in February, as both were named to the Lions’ 4 Nations team. The tournament starts on February 13.
Laine and Leigh’s wedding date, on the other hand, is unknown. The fitness model said that she plans to take Laine’s last name.
