Parties at home: the best dishes and desserts to take away

Celebrating Christmas and the New Year at home requires organization. To facilitate the mission, different gastronomic places propose artisan recipes ready to serve and dedicate yourself to enjoy.

– The distinguished Biasatti pasta house (Ciudad de la Paz 1917, Belgrano) prepares Italian dishes and desserts such as vitello tonnato with capers, anchovies and tuna ($6,500 per kg); Sardinian porchetta shredded with garlic, thyme, rosemary, sage and mint ($4,350 per kg, vacuum-packed); focaccia with rosemary and sea salt ($330 20×20 cm); classic tiramisu with mascarpone ($920 per serving); and Sicilian cannoli stuffed with sheep ricotta (with oranges $460 each, with pistachios $560 each). They take orders 48 hours in advance to withdraw at their Belgrano location or receive at home.

– To complement the table with quality cold cuts and cheeses, the Piccadely brand (Av. Álvarez Thomas 1552, Villa Ortuzar) created a special table that includes raw ham, cooked ham, leberwurst, criollo salami, Tandilera sausage, Prague loin, brindamour cheese with oregano, bocconcinos, mozzarella with stuffed tomatoes, fontina cheese and reggianito cheese, accompanied by green and black olives, cherry tomatoes and breads. Five people eat with the Medium option ($5,700) and with the Large one, nine ($8,900). They make home deliveries, upon request at 5368-5885, or you can pick up directly at the Villa Ortuzar location.

– In the different locations of Gourmand Food Hall (Posadas 1245, Patio Bullrich, Recoleta) you will find everything you need to put together a complete menu. Some outstanding options are: the stuffed matambre ($4,500 per kg), the suckling pig with 24 hours of cooking ($4,500 per kg) and the Waldorf salad (500gr for $1,500) from Bistro Francés; the slow-cooked bondiola with mustard and curry ($3,900 per kg) from the Rotissoire; the 60-piece sushi platter ($12,900) from Oyster Bar; and the box of 10 pistachio, dulce de leche, chocolate, raspberry, lemon and blueberry macarons ($3,000) from the Patisserie. Orders 48 hours in advance at 11 4814-7530 to withdraw for space.

– For detractors of typical Christmas sweets, Café & Deli Moshu (Moldes 3802, Saavedra y Guatemala 4570, Palermo) offers an exclusive version of its customers’ favorite cake: the classic Red Velvet. It is a super moist cocoa sponge cake with cream cheese and vanilla frosting, to which are especially added red fruits in syrup with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, anise and allspice. It comes in single bar ($1,300), four-portion cake ($4,400), or 12-portion cake ($8,100). To withdraw from your premises, ordering by phone at 11 6365-2860 until the day before each festive date.
