Are you going to Groningen by car from Drenthe on the A28 this weekend? Please pay attention, because part of the highway is temporarily closed.
The road will be closed between Groningen South and Groningen Center from 10 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m. Monday. The closure is necessary to repair a joint and to plant greenery. Traffic is being diverted via various routes.
The southern ring road in Groningen will also be partly closed to car traffic this weekend. This concerns the section from the Euvelgunne junction to Julianaplein. Due to construction work, car traffic cannot drive on this route in the direction of Assen and Drachten until 6 a.m. on Monday.
