The fire brigade in Breda had some variety in their work this Saturday afternoon. This time they didn’t have to extinguish a fire, but had to save a parrot. The beast was in a tree and the owner of the animal called in the fire brigade to remove her beloved beast from the tree. But the yellow bird had no appetite at all.
The beast has been in the tree on the Gastakker in Breda since Friday. On Saturday the owner thought it was time for the animal to be saved. Only there the parrot had no ears, his freedom tasted like more.
The fire brigade has made an attempt with a platform to remove the parrot from the tree. The owner even went upstairs in the aerial platform. Once at the top, the animal just flew back to the next tree.
The fire brigade eventually stopped the rescue. The owner went home without parrot. According to a woman from the street, the owner of the parrot often walks around in the neighborhood with the animal and she has to keep an eye on the parrot.
