From July 22nd to 24th, one of the largest music festivals in Europe will take place at Weeze Airport in North Rhine-Westphalia: the Parookaville. This year, 225,000 visitors are expected – a record. For three days, electronic music is celebrated on more than 10 stages with over 300 DJs. We have all the information at a glance.

The organizers recently announced that the Parookaville is actually sold out. But that’s no reason to despair. On the official website, in “Resale Shop”, offer tickets for sale to fans who cannot come after all. So be sure to look there.
arrival
Visitors from the Rhineland or the Ruhr area arriving by car are best advised to follow the A57 in the direction of Nijmegen. Then simply take exit 3 to Goch or exit 4 to Uedem. Warning: Expect traffic jams all day on July 21st. According to the organizer, around 12,000 cars are expected to arrive at the campsite. From July 22 to 24 there will probably be waiting times between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Arrival and departure by train is not possible this year. Because of a construction site, buses are used as rail replacement services. However, travel times and capacities are limited.
Another option is the PV Express created for the event. The North (Kleve-Bedburg-Hau-Goch), South (Geldern-Kevelaer) and Fern (Krefeld-Kempen-Aldekerk-Nieukerk) routes go directly to the Parookaville day visitor entrance. Important: Tickets for the outward journey must be booked in advance in the personal MyTicket portal.
Day visitors who are active and arrive by bike must take the official access road to Weeze Airport in the direction of “P Tagesparker”. There should then be a large parking space available. After parking, shuttle buses will take you to the site.

On July 22nd, Nicky Romero, Afrojack and Tiësto will be DJing on the main stage. Alle Farben from Germany and the French DJ Martin Solveig should also ensure a good atmosphere.
The line-up is also impressive on July 23rd. Stars like Robin Schulz, Wildstylez and Armin van Buuren play their greatest hits.
On the last day of the event, the event also offers a bit of variety. Mallorca Queen Mia Julia, Schlager parody Alexander Marcus and Evil Jared from the Bloodhound Gang appear. At the end Alan Walker, Steve Aoki and Timmy Trumpet are on the big stage.

At the beginning of the festival there are scattered clouds in the sky and the temperature reaches a lukewarm 22 degrees. In the evening the sky is finally overcast and it gets cooler. The minimum temperature is 14 degrees.
On July 23 sun and clouds alternate. During the day the values are between 13 and 24 degrees. In the evening it will remain cloudless with light gusts.
Bitter: On the last day, the weather is at its best. Not a cloud in the sky and the temperature reaches up to 31 degrees. Even at night it stays warm, the stars are clear and the temperature is around 18 degrees.
