Tennis star Coco Gauff collected a bitter mood damper three weeks after her French Open Triumph. The American lost 6: 7 (3: 7), 1: 6 in Wimbledon against the Ukrainian Dajana Jastremska and was already eliminated in the first round.

According to Justine Henin (2005) and Francesca Schiavone (2010), Gauff is the first acting French Open winner in the Open ERA, which failed in Wimbledon at the start.

The two-time Grand Slam winner had been considered a favorite after her triumph from Paris. But on the lawn of Court One, nine double mistakes, 29 unscathed mistakes – and only six winners. Jastremska consistently used the weaknesses and prevailed after only 79 minutes.
