According to the International Testing Agency (ITA), 26-year-old Mullojonov gave a positive doping sample on June 11 in a non-competition test.

“The athlete has been informed of the case and has the right to request an analysis of a B sample,” Ita stated in a statement published on Wednesday.
If the B sample confirms the result of the original sample, the case will be treated as an official doping offense. If the B sample is not requested for examination, the infringement is considered automatically confirmed.
Mullojonov has the opportunity to express its own explanation for the finding.
Mellonov won the heavyweight gold at the Paris Olympics in the summer of 2024 and won bronze in the 2023 World Cup.
