The second Parisian club, owned by the Arnaults, has included the Italian among their objectives for January, but Moise and Viola do not want to part ways. And from July the 62 million clause will be valid

Paris FC, the second team in Paris, is looking high: it has money, it is ambitious, it wants to grow. And for January he has a very particular idea: to try to get Moise Kean from Fiorentina. The Parisian club has not made any offers and knows that the chances of success of the operation are very low but the will to explore the situation is there. Money is not a problem at Paris FC: the majority of the club is owned by the family of Bernard Arnault, president and CEO of LVMH, the multinational that owns brands such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, DKNY, Hublot, Tag Heuer…

kean and fiorentina: the situation

Kean has a contract with Fiorentina until 2029. In the agreement, a 62 million clause, payable by a club between July 1st and 15th of each year. Whoever wants Moise in the winter must talk to Fiorentina and Kean is untransferable for Viola. Too important for a team at the bottom of the table, which desperately needs to get back on its feet to avoid a sensational relegation. Also for this reason, president Commisso in recent days offered a five-year contract to Fabio Paratici as head of the technical area. Kean himself is very attached to Paris – he played for PSG in 2020-21 and often goes to the city for passion – but at the moment he has no intention of moving. And logic suggests that a transfer would be more likely in the summer, with a big club ready to pay the clause (and if possible Italy at the World Cup, the great international showcase next summer).

the perspective of paris

For Paris FC, however, the addition of Kean would allow them to consolidate their growth plan, with more offensive solidity. In the first round of Ligue 1, the Arnault team showed obvious limitations in attack, despite the late awakening of the other former Viola Ikoné, who scored a hat-trick yesterday in the French Cup, but against the amateurs of Raon-l’Etape. The first victory since the top-flight win over Monaco on November 1st. Also for this reason the other club from the capital, fourteenth in Ligue 1 just four points from the relegation zone, has decided to invest further in the market, after having spent 57 million in the summer to build a squad that needs significant reinforcements. All under the sporting tutelage of former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, in the role of representative of the minority shareholder RedBull.
