Parents of French toddler Émile (2) about his disappearance: “Endless waiting” | Abroad

After two months of intensive searching, there is still no trace of little Émile. In late August, his parents, Marie and Colomban, first responded to the disappearance. “We can only imagine the worst, but at the same time we continue to hope,” the father said at the time.

Yesterday they posted a message in the Facebook group ‘Pray for Émile’ calling for prayers. “As we previously did for the Ascension Vigil, we would now like to ask you to pray more intensively for the return of our little boy on the occasion of the Feast of Mary (the birth of Mary, ed.).” September 8 is the feast day of the Nativity of Mary, exactly two months after Émile’s disappearance.

They further thanked the members of the group for their “prayers that continue to support us in the anguish of this endless wait.”
