A resident of the Kruisvelden in Etten-Leur became stuck on the roof of his house on Monday afternoon. The man turned out to be paralyzed on one side, but had nevertheless gone onto the roof. Then he was no longer able to climb down.
The fire brigade had to be called in to remove the man from the roof. He had to promise the police and fire brigade that he would not climb on the roof again.
“Tip of the day: Do not climb on the roof if you have difficulty walking,” the officers write on Instagram.
