Status: 25.03.2025 3:09 p.m.

Anna-Lena Forster shows a very strong performance in the end of the season and celebrates two World Cup victories in slalom. Anna-Maria Rieder also triumphs.

Anna-Lena Forster once again performed very strongly at the last two para slalom races of the season. The 29-year-old from Lake Constance won twice at the World Cup in the Swiss Veysonnaz. On Monday (March 24, 2025), she pushed two competitors from China, Sitong Liu and Wenjing Zhang, to places two and three.

Slalom world champion Forster also underlined on Tuesday (25.03.2025), in what a strong form she was this season. Because even at the second race, she confidently won the victory in the seated class. With best times in both runs, she won in front of the Japanese Momoka Muraoka and Chinese Sitong Liu.

Rieder also shines for the final

It was also successful for Anna-Maria Rieder. The 25-year-old showed a good first round in para slalom on Monday, was in third place at halftime, but fell back to the unfortunate fourth place in round two. The Swede Ebba Aarsjoe was unbeatable. The Chinese Mengqiu Zhang was second in front of the French woman Aurelie Richard.

It went much better for the native Garmisch-Partenkirchner on Tuesday. Again after the first round she was in third place. With the best time in the final, however, she still drove to victory: she won the race in front of the Frenchwoman Aurelie Richard and Michaela Gosselin from Canada.

The men’s performance was less good. Alexander Rauen and Christoph Glotzner left out. Leon Gensert was tenth tenth.
