Roma-Inter will also be played in… Tortona. And it couldn’t be otherwise. On Saturday, a few hours after the big match at the Olimpico stadium, Vincent Candela, Gigi Di Biagio, Luca Toni, Francesco Totti and Christian Vieri will take to the field, for benefit purposes, in the new and very modern Cittadella dello Sport in the crossroads between Piedmont, Liguria and Lombardy. The multifunctional home of the men’s and women’s Derthona Basket, inaugurated a few weeks ago, opens to a show that combines sport and entertainment with a choral objective: in the name of padel, played by former champions, everyone will be present in favor of the Para Padel Project association.

Together with the five great former Roma and Inter players there will also be Nicola Amoruso, Thomas Locatelli and Alessandro Matri. The lineup includes a spectacular ‘timed’ mini tournament and at the end of the afternoon, hosted by Federica Nargi amidst music and dance, the most awaited moment will arrive, “One Stronger Together”: the former champions and para athletes of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation will share the field and emotions to launch a message of sporting sharing. “As I repeat often and willingly, we are lucky guys. And it is right to help those in need – underlines Vieri -. I have known Pippo Galliano for a long time, he has always faced everything with passion and determination, the Para Padel Project association was born from the desire to unite important and transparent feelings. It will be a pleasure to do it with him in one of the most innovative and modern arenas in Italy”.

Many spectators have already gathered at the Cittadella dello Sport, but it is still possible to attend (to purchase tickets, consult the social pages of the event: One Stronger Together). You can’t miss a super big from Tortona, Alessandro Cattelan, who will open the event at 4 pm by recording – live – an episode of his “Supernova”.
